(God’s glory above all else is the heart cry of CFC. "Yes Lord, walking in the way of your truth, we eagerly wait for you. Your name and renown is the cry of our heart."
- Isaiah 26:8 we are here to make Jesus famous in the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas and throughout the world. A passion for God’s glory drives our worship and is the heart that beats life into the entire body of CFC. The ultimate purpose of man is to glorify God by enjoying Him forever.)
Relationships: Discipleship, Symbol of Tree
(At CFC relationships win out over rules every time. Grace flows through relationships not external rules and regulations. We grow best in the context of a relationship. Growth takes place not in isolation but in connection with others. A Christ-follower grows in the fertile soil of relationships. We grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus when rooted in the reality of relationships with others. Healthy relationships promote spiritual growth. We’re better together!)
Acceptance: Ministry, Symbol of Earth
(Acceptance of others is the regulating thermostat of the climate of CFC. We seek to cultivate an atmosphere where each person, regardless of spiritual background, ethnicity, social and economic standing, failures or successes, is made to feel welcomed and wanted. Acceptance is a powerful motivation toward transformational living.
Compassion: Evangelism, Element of Water
(Before the world will care what we know they must know that we care. Our goal is to increasingly become a strategic missionary center by developing people who are on-mission with God in the world: Home-makers, students, business persons, doctors, lawyers, builders, educators, service providers, public servants, health care providers, farmers, agribusiness people, etc. CFC is a community of people who consistently seek to share the water of life with thirsty people in the normal traffic pattern of their everyday life.)
Encouragement: Fellowship, Symbol of Wind
(People need hope and encouragement like a suffocating person needs wind. Our goal is to breathe the air of encouragement into those who have had the wind knocked out of them by the blows of life. We long to be a grace-filled people of encouragement. Our celebration services and small groups are designed to bring strong encouragement for life today.)
